This inconspicuous Church of St Cyril and Methodius was the scene of a great story of Czech history moreover than anything else. In this baroque church, built in 1730, the Czech paratroopers, who assassinated Protector Reinhard Heydrich, were hiding in 1942 coupled with czech resistance.
Subsequently, they were surrounded, they locked themselves in the local crypt that the SS-Waffen unit surrounding the church tried to drown. Paratroopers did not want to give up at any cost and furthermore took their own life with their own weapons. Hence those heroes were:

Jaroslav Švarc (Tin)
