“Strange Towers” … Even in this so badly way we can this Gothic Emauzy Monastery founded by Emperor Charles IV in 1347 characterise. Today’s look caused air raid in February 1945, which destroyed both towers of the Church of the Holy Virgin Mary. Because the US Air Force allegedly mistaken Prague and Dresden .
In the 1950s, consequently the monastery was repaired and nationalized. The local monks returned to the monastery only in 1989, when the church returned to the original order.
Today, the church is a kind of curiosity because of its towers … So, do you like it or not? 😊
