Prague Loreta is Baroque church complex just outside the Prague Castle. Its main feature is the tower that hides the chimes in the bowels. Architect Kryštof Dientzenhofer designed this complex as well as many other Prague religious buildings. The chimes themselves first appeared on the Feast of Our Lady in August 15, 1695.
There is also the Holy Hut from 1631, which is a reminder of the dwelling of the Virgin Mary in Nazareth, Baroque figures of the saints decorates this Holy Hut. There is also the treasury and the Church of the Nativity. It was the last built building of the whole premises built in 1722-1737. It is a Baroque building with a fabulous interior decoration, in this case the author of the frescoes is Václav Vavřinec Reiner.
Many beautiful Baroque sculptures decorates the area so the visit is definitely worth.
